Job Description
Schneider is a leading transportation and logistics company known for its commitment to safety, innovation, and driver satisfaction. Established over 80 years ago, Schneider has grown to become one of North America's largest and most trusted providers of truckload, intermodal and logistics services. With a strong focus on offering excellent customer service and operational excellence, Schneider supports a diverse range of industries including retail, food and beverage, manufacturing, and more. The company fosters an inclusive culture that values diversity and provides equal opportunities for all employees to contribute meaningfully and grow their careers.
This job posting is for a Dedicated Truck Driver position devoted to servicing Coca-Cola routes. As a Dedicated Truck Driver with Schneider, you will be responsible for safely hauling food and beverage products in dry van trailers. The role operates within a regional footprint covering Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas. Drivers typically handle 2 to 4 loads per week, with one stop per load, ensuring dependable and consistent schedules that promote regular weekly home time. Schneider emphasizes driver comfort and safety through leading equipment and technology designed specifically with drivers in mind.
This position offers competitive pay ranging from approximately $1,050 to $1,300 weekly, factoring in mileage pay and additional hourly pay for on-duty non-driving hours. Weekly performance bonuses and an annual bonus of up to 2% of annual gross pay provide further income potential. The role includes paid orientation to help new drivers adjust smoothly. After six months, drivers become eligible for paid time off and receive holiday pay for six days annually.
Working as a Dedicated Truck Driver on the Coca-Cola account with Schneider means you will primarily have 100% no-touch freight, meaning you are not responsible for physically loading or unloading goods. Around 60% of your freight involves drop-and-hook operations, facilitating efficient and less stressful load changes. The job requires proficiency in slow-speed maneuvers and complex backing, skills that are critical for safe operations in various delivery environments.
Schneider’s commitment to inclusivity means all drivers benefit from a respectful and supportive workplace culture that recognizes diversity in many forms including race, gender, age, military service, and more. They provide reasonable accommodations to support applicants through the hiring process as needed. Additionally, the company participates in E-Verify to ensure employment eligibility.
This full-time commercial driving role demands a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and a minimum of three months CDL driving experience. If you need CDL training, Schneider offers company-paid programs to help you start your driving career. Additional military benefits and referral bonuses are available, further enhancing compensation and career development opportunities. Schneider’s dependable paychecks, reliable home time, and the chance to build familiarity with regular routes and customers create a stable and rewarding environment for professional drivers dedicated to safety and service excellence.
