The company specializes in a wide range of freight options and offers comprehensive support to its drivers to ensure both safety and job satisfaction. This position specifically caters to dedicated team truck driving within the Nevada and California regions, hauling auto parts with a dry van trailer.
This role as a Dedicated Team Truck Driver with Schneider National offers an outstanding opportunity for licensed CDL holders who are interested in local and regional routes with predictable weekly home time. The role focuses on dry van trailer hauling of auto parts, guaranteeing 100% no-touch freight and 90% drop-and-hook loads. Drivers assigned to this route typically complete around 10 loads per week, ensuring a consistent and steady workload. With weekly pay ranging from $1,560 to $1,910 and an emphasis on weekly home time, this is an ideal position for those seeking a balanced work-life dynamic.
The employment type is full-time, providing drivers with steady hours and paid orientation. Pay packages are comprehensive, including mileage pay, hourly pay while on duty but not driving, weekly performance pay, and an annual bonus of up to 2% of yearly gross pay. After six months, drivers become eligible for paid time off and holiday pay, reinforcing Schneider's commitment to employee well-being and retention. Additionally, drivers are welcomed to bring their pets along on the road thanks to the company’s Team Pet Policy, reflecting a more personalized approach to the driver lifestyle.
Schneider National also places great importance on fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture. They emphasize dignity and respect for all employees regardless of race, gender, age, and other diverse backgrounds. The company is an equal opportunity employer and provides reasonable accommodations during the hiring process according to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Given Schneider’s use of E-Verify, all new hires will be verified for employment eligibility to maintain compliance with federal regulations.
