Job Description

Schneider is a leading transportation and logistics company, renowned for its commitment to safety, innovation, and driver wellbeing. Founded over 80 years ago, Schneider has grown into a premier provider of truckload, intermodal, and logistics services across North America. With a vast operational network, top-tier technology, and driver-focused policies, Schneider is dedicated to delivering reliable, sustainable freight solutions while fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment. As a large-scale trucking company, Schneider prides itself on offering comprehensive training, competitive pay structures, and career development opportunities for its drivers. Employing thousands of professional drivers nationwide, the company remains a trusted name in the transportation industry with a focus on diversity, safety standards, and driver satisfaction.

The Dedicated Team Truck Driver role at Schneider is tailored for individuals who want steady work and consistent home time while hauling dry van trailers filled with home improvement supplies. This position involves driving within a multi-state region, including Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Iowa. Drivers operate under a 100% no-touch freight policy, meaning they do not load or unload trailers, with most shipments being drop-and-hook, allowing quicker turnaround times and greater efficiency. This role is ideal for CDL holders seeking to work as a team to cover routes efficiently and safely.

Offering average weekly pay ranging from $1,520 to $1,850, the job emphasizes work-life balance with weekly home time and the unique option to bring a pet along on the road under the Team Pet Policy. The role requires performing approximately 10 loads a week, with mileage pay complemented by hourly pay during on-duty but not driving periods, as well as weekly performance bonuses. Schneider offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for experienced drivers and $5,000 for inexperienced drivers, paid out over 12 months. Orientation is paid, and drivers earn paid time off starting after six months, including six days of holiday pay annually. An annual bonus is awarded based on 2% of the driver’s yearly gross pay, recognizing performance and commitment.

Schneider is committed to driver comfort and safety, providing leading equipment and technology designed to reduce fatigue and improve the driving experience. They also offer extensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company matching, unlimited referral bonuses, and options for company-paid CDL training including apprenticeships. Military veterans are valued and receive credit for military experience, along with tailored apprenticeship programs. Schneider emphasizes a culture of respect, diversity, and equal opportunity, supporting employees of all backgrounds and offering accommodations in the hiring process to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

By joining Schneider as a Dedicated Team Truck Driver, candidates will be part of a company that balances competitive compensation with an inclusive culture, strong support infrastructure, and practical work conditions. This is a full-time employment opportunity well-suited for teams that are home-based within 100 miles of Henderson, Colorado, and who hold a valid Class A CDL or Commercial Learner’s Permit if entering company-paid training. This role exemplifies Schneider's dedication to safe, reliable freight transportation paired with career growth and driver satisfaction, making it an attractive option for professional truck drivers looking to establish a stable and rewarding career in transportation.
