Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months or greater CDL driving experience
- Ability to drive at night
- Residence within 30 miles of Perryville, MD
- Ability to perform manual labor including hand unloading freight using pallet jacks
- Strong safety awareness
- Ability to work full time and maintain schedule consistency
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience
- Experience driving at night
- Ability to live within 30 miles of Perryville, MD
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to safely operate pallet jacks
- Knowledge of truck maintenance basics
Job Duties
- Operate reefer trailers hauling grocery store refrigerated products
- Hand unload freight using pallet jacks
- Complete an average of four loads per week with 1-7 stop-offs per load
- Drive primarily at night within DE, MD, NJ, PA, and NY including New York City
- Maintain compliance with safety and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customer contacts
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight
