With a strong emphasis on employee support and operational excellence, Schneider ensures that its drivers receive competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth. The company boasts state-of-the-art equipment, advanced technology, and a culture that values diversity and inclusion, making it a preferred employer in the trucking industry.

The job offers an average weekly pay range from $1,675 to $2,050, with additional load pay and weekly performance bonuses. Additionally, Schneider provides a substantial $7,500 sign-on bonus paid over the first year for experienced drivers.

Drivers on this route typically handle around four loads per week, each involving 1 to 7 stop-offs, and are responsible for 100% hand-unloading using pallet jacks. The role requires nocturnal driving and demands familiarity with urban and highway routes, including congested areas such as New York City. One of the key benefits of this position is daily home time, allowing drivers to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Schneider supports continuous learning and career advancement by offering paid orientation and the availability of company-sponsored CDL training programs for those seeking to enter the trucking profession.

Beyond compensation, Schneider delivers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, unlimited referral bonuses, and credit for military experience. The employer also emphasizes driver comfort by utilizing leading equipment and technological innovations. Schneider's inclusive culture fosters equal opportunity for all associates, promoting diversity in thought, background, and experience. This role is ideal for individuals residing within 40 miles of Perryville, MD who hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and have at least three months of CDL experience.
