Job Description

Texas TransEastern Inc is a leading transportation company specializing in the delivery of fuel and petroleum products. Operating out of Tyler, Texas, this company is committed to providing reliable and timely fuel delivery services to local convenience stores and other commercial customers. Known for its strong safety record and focus on employee well-being, Texas TransEastern Inc offers a supportive work environment combined with excellent compensation and benefits packages.

This particular opportunity is for a Local Home Daily Fuel Delivery Driver position. Drivers in this role are responsible for safely operating tanker trucks to deliver fuel products throughout the local Tyler area while adhering to all safety regulations and company standards. A critical aspect of this job is the requirement for HazMat and Tanker endorsements, ensuring that drivers are fully qualified to handle hazardous materials and tanker operations. The position offers a consistent home daily schedule, meaning drivers return to their homes every day without long layovers or extended travel periods, which greatly enhances work-life balance.

The starting salary for this role is $75,000 per year, with additional financial incentives such as a $1,500 sign-on bonus and various bonuses for safety, driver referrals, and clean vehicle inspections. Texas TransEastern Inc also provides options for daily pay, making this role attractive for those seeking flexible payment arrangements. The work schedule follows a 5/2 or 5/3 rotation, helping maintain a predictable routine for employees.

The company places a high priority on safety, reflected in their quarterly safety bonus program, and supports its drivers with comprehensive benefits. These include robust medical, dental, and vision insurance plans alongside short and long-term disability coverage. Life insurance and accident-related coverages such as critical illness and hospital indemnity provide extra security for employees and their families. Additional employee support programs, such as an employee assistance program and diabetes management, illustrate Texas TransEastern Inc’s commitment to holistic employee health and wellness.

This role also comes with a 401k retirement plan featuring company matching, paid vacation and paid time off, plus a generous $200 per day training pay to ensure new drivers are well-prepared. Overall, this position suits experienced CDL Class A drivers who are dedicated to safety, enjoy local routes, and want to work for a company that values its team members and offers strong career benefits.
