Job Description

O'Reilly Auto Parts is a leading retailer and distributor of automotive aftermarket parts, accessories, and services in the United States. Known for its extensive network of stores and commitment to customer satisfaction, O'Reilly Auto Parts has established itself as a trusted name in the automotive industry. The company prides itself on offering high-quality products and exceptional service to both professional installers and do-it-yourself customers. As a well-established organization with a reputation for operational excellence, O'Reilly Auto Parts provides a stable and rewarding work environment for its employees across the country.

The role being offered is that of a Class 8 Tractor-Trailer Driver, a critical position within the company's logistics and distribution operations. This full-time position offers potential first-year earnings of approximately $72,306.34 based on average route hours, although actual annual earnings may vary depending on the length of the route. Drivers have the advantage of being home daily, working a five-day week, and having no weekend shifts. The position includes a salary package that incorporates safety incentives, driver bonuses, and performance-based raises, reflecting O'Reilly Auto Parts' commitment to rewarding safe and efficient driving.

As a Class 8 Tractor-Trailer Driver, the individual will be responsible for operating commercial vehicles to deliver merchandise safely, timely, and accurately to various store locations as part of the company's fleet. This role requires adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) and company regulations to ensure all deliveries comply with safety and legal standards. Drivers will use electric pallet jacks and lift gates to handle large shipments typically delivered as full pallets, minimizing handling and increasing efficiency. The routes are dedicated and generally overnight, emphasizing low-touch freight delivery to streamline the logistics process.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers who appreciate a modern fleet equipped with the latest tractors and trailers, and who seek consistent schedules without weekend work. The emphasis on safety, performance, and employee well-being is evident through the inclusion of various incentives and benefits, such as quarterly bonuses that can amount to $5,000, a full suite of medical, dental and vision insurance options, a 401k program, stock purchase plan, paid vacation and holidays, paid sick time, and generous employee discounts.

Working at O'Reilly Auto Parts means being part of a respected driving team where your contribution is valued and recognized. The company offers a supportive and structured work environment with a strong focus on operational efficiency, safety compliance, and employee satisfaction. Drivers must perform daily inspections, maintain Hours of Service logs, secure loads appropriately, and assist with various delivery routes as needed. This role suits someone with a clean driving record, a Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement, and a solid understanding of DOT regulations. Flexible working hours and the ability to pass required drug and alcohol tests are essential.

Join O'Reilly Auto Parts and contribute to a dynamic team that plays a vital role in the company's success by ensuring smooth, safe, and on-time deliveries to customers. Build a rewarding career with competitive pay, strong benefits, and a respected employer in the automotive aftermarket industry.
