Job Description

The CCA Receptionist position is a cornerstone role within the school community, serving as the very first point of contact for a diverse range of individuals including students, families, visitors, and staff. This critical role is situated within a faith-based educational institution dedicated to fostering a Christ-centered learning environment. The school's mission focuses on nurturing young adults not only academically but also spiritually, aligning values and culture with a biblical worldview that encourages growth, kindness, and integrity.

As a vibrant community hub, this school is committed to providing an atmosphere that is welcoming, warm, and professional. The CCA Receptionist plays an indispensable part in maintaining this environment through excellent front office management, effective communication, and administrative support. This role demands a person who is personable, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously with a positive and hospitable attitude.

The role primarily involves greeting and assisting anyone entering the school, answering and directing phone calls, managing emails, and ensuring that the front office remains an inviting and orderly space. Maintaining the security of the campus through visitor check-in procedures is a key responsibility, ensuring the safety and well-being of all community members. Beyond reception duties, the role supports daily school operations by managing attendance records, facilitating communication between students, families, and staff, and organizing essential documents and correspondence.

The position offers an opportunity for an individual to contribute meaningfully to the smooth running of the school’s day-to-day functions while also upholding and promoting the organization’s mission and core values. This full-time role, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week, is crafted for someone who thrives in a dynamic and service-oriented setting. It includes responsibilities that extend beyond typical office hours, involving weekend services and family ministry programs to support community events and activities.

Strong administrative skills are crucial for success in this role, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, alongside proven organizational and multitasking capabilities. Previous experience in a school or church environment, or in roles that required customer service and administrative skills, is highly valued. Equally important are the spiritual qualifications and character traits expected: a mature follower of Jesus Christ who demonstrates servant-hearted leadership, relational maturity, and active participation in church life.

By joining the school as a CCA Receptionist, the candidate will have the unique opportunity to be a vital part of a Christ-centered and supportive community. This position is more than just administrative support; it is a service role that helps shape the culture and climate of the school every day, creating an environment where students and families feel valued, safe, and encouraged to thrive in all aspects of their lives.
