The company prides itself on delivering memorable vacation experiences through outstanding customer service, diverse dining options, and engaging onboard activities. As an industry leader listed on the NYSE under the symbol RCL, Royal Caribbean Group also holds a 50 percent stake in a joint venture that includes renowned names such as TUI Cruises and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises. This ensures its position at the forefront of the cruise industry by continually advancing its global reach and offering premium travel experiences.

This role primarily involves assisting the Chef de Partie in preparing and cooking high-quality meals in alignment with recipe standards and daily meal production demands. The position requires a foundational knowledge of food menus, ingredients, potential allergens, and basic cooking methods. Serving a vital function in ensuring that guests receive dishes that meet brand standards and expectations, the Cook Assistant Commis operates within a framework of strict adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and important public health, safety, security, and environmental guidelines.
In this role, daily duties include food preparation, cooking, and assisting in the execution of menu items while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area. The Cook Assistant Commis must collaborate effectively with team members across departments to guarantee seamless meal service. This position demands interaction with various internal and external stakeholders, highlighting the importance of effective communication skills and adherence to the Royal Way philosophy—a commitment to excellence, integrity, and respect within team operations.
