The role of the Office Staff member at Stancato's Famiglia is integral to the success of the catering and private events department. Reporting directly to the Owner or Office Manager, this position serves as the backbone of the event planning and execution process. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to creating flawless event experiences. Responsibilities include managing catering orders with precision, coordinating deliveries and drivers, and handling private event bookings, including banquet room management and dining reservations. Effective communication skills are essential, as the role requires engaging warmly and promptly with guests, staff, and leadership to ensure all details—from menus to special requests—are handled flawlessly.

Beyond administrative duties, the Office Staff member also leads and mentors team members, ensuring adherence to company policies and smooth event operations. Job Requirements

  • A college certificate or equivalent experience in hospitality
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant hospitality or event coordination experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Sharp vision for close-up, color, and focus
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Flexibility to adapt and manage multiple priorities

Job Duties

  • Plan and execute flawless catering orders, mastering menus, portions, delivery logistics, and driver coordination
  • Book and manage private events in banquet rooms, ensuring menus and special requests are perfect
  • Handle dining room reservations for parties, managing special requests and deposits with precision
  • Respond to guest inquiries via phone or email with warmth, speed, and expertise
  • Know menus inside out, advising on allergies, diets, and customizations
  • Communicate updates and mentor staff on event procedures
  • Assist with other tasks as needed, bringing energy to all areas of operation
