Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality management, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- proven experience in sales preferably within the catering or hospitality industry
- strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
- proficiency in sales and CRM software as well as Microsoft Office Suite
- ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- flexibility to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends as needed for client meetings and events
- valid driver's license and ability to drive personal or company vehicle to attend client meetings, site visits, and events
- ability to sit for extended periods
- dexterity and fine motor skills for frequent computer use and document handling
- ability to read and interpret documents with or without corrective lenses
- ability to hear and understand conversations during meetings and phone calls
- mobility to move around office and attend events at various locations
- ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally
- adaptability to varying physical demands based on meetings, event setups, and travel requirements
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and expand the client base
- develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and grow existing accounts
- build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored catering solutions
- provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and event execution
- prepare and present detailed catering proposals and contracts to clients
- negotiate terms, pricing, and service agreements to close sales and secure contracts
- collaborate with the catering team to ensure client expectations are met and events are executed smoothly
- oversee planning and coordination of catering services, including menu selection, setup, and logistics
- conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies
- track and report on sales performance, including revenue, client acquisition, and market penetration
- gather and analyze client feedback to continually improve catering services
- work closely with catering operations team to ensure alignment between sales and service delivery
- assist in training and mentoring new team members as needed
