The role of Catering Supervisor at the Wings/Ent Credit Union headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO, is vital in maintaining the high standards of service that Creative Dining Services is known for. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 6 am to 3 pm and focuses on managing operational aspects of scheduled catering events. Reporting directly to the Catering Manager, the Catering Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising all facets of catering services, working closely with production, conference services, and sales teams to ensure seamless event execution. The supervisor ensures that all catering activities align with company policies on customer service, food presentation, sustainability, and fiscal responsibility.

Key responsibilities include reviewing event schedules, planning logistics with chefs, managing inventories, and coordinating with various departments to meet food and beverage expectations. The role demands a professional and cooperative approach, ensuring that sanitation, safety, and organizational standards are rigorously followed. Additionally, the supervisor maintains records and prepares reports that aid continuous improvement for catering services. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of experience in food service or catering
  • Valid ServSafe Certification
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6 am to 3 pm
  • Physical capability to lift or move inventory, products, carts, and tables
  • Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment
  • Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions including hot, humid, or cold settings
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Two years minimum experience in food service or catering
  • ServSafe Certification
  • Knowledge of proper table service techniques and design preferred

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and supervise all catering activities under the direction of the Catering Manager
  • Work in conjunction with production, conference services, and sales staff to plan and coordinate catering event details
  • Review scheduled catering events and collaborate with the Chef to determine logistical needs
  • Perform inventories and submit requests for products and equipment
  • Coordinate with the catering team and support departments regarding food and beverage expectations, delivery, set-up, and break down of events
  • Ensure sanitation, organization, and safety standards are met through checklists and hands-on supervision
  • Maintain records and prepare reports to support continuous improvement of catering services
