The role of Food Service Supervisor at Aramark is a vital leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily food service operations within a specified location. The supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring that high standards of food safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are consistently met. This position involves supervising and training food service employees, managing work schedules, maintaining food production records, and ensuring the safest and most efficient use of resources. The Food Service Supervisor directs daily activities that include maintaining accurate inventory levels and making vendor orders to meet production demands effectively. Additionally, the supervisor is responsible for enforcing sanitation standards and health codes to create a clean and hazard-free environment. A key part of this role is to promote a positive, productive work climate by counseling staff, fostering teamwork, and encouraging employee growth and morale. This position requires someone who can perform well under pressure, manage interpersonal differences, and maintain strong organizational skills. Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- Completion of sanitation course either before or during first year
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to maintain emotional control under stress
- Ability to resolve interpersonal situations
- Strong organizational skills
- Physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing
- Willingness to wear uniforms and/or personal protective equipment (PPE)

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production records
- Direct daily activities
- Maintain food production that ensures the safety and quality of food according to policies, procedures, and department requirements
- Ensure that food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment
- Maintain all serving schedules
- ensure that all food items are served per menu specifications in a safe and appropriate manner according to departmental policies and procedures
- Maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes and regulations
- Maintain accurate inventory on a weekly basis according to departmental policies and procedures
- May prepare orders as needed per vendor to ensure accurate production for location
- Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost effective program
