The role of Catering Supervisor at Sodexo is pivotal in delivering exceptional food service experiences through effective team leadership and operational oversight. As a Catering Supervisor, you will coordinate and oversee routine activities of food service employees in a variety of settings including fast casual dining, coffee service, cafeterias, banquets, and cafes. You will support management by facilitating daily operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and promoting employee training and development. This position requires a proactive leader who can multitask efficiently, liaise with customers to uphold high satisfaction levels, and maintain compliance with Sodexo’s stringent quality and safety protocols. Job Duties
- Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
- Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
- Facilitate orientation and training of employees
- Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned, which may vary depending on business needs and client requirements
