The role of the Catering Supervisor is pivotal within this unit, overseeing the full spectrum of catering operations including order taking, driver scheduling, food production and presentation, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the department. This position requires a hands-on leader who directly interacts with guests and outside customers daily, ensuring that every event runs smoothly and exceeds expectations. As a Catering Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team that prepares and serves breakfast and lunch catering orders, manages deliveries, and executes sales initiatives to boost catering business growth. Your leadership will extend to managing the assembly of catering orders via baskets, trays, and bowls, as well as performing driver assignments and coordinating community event participation.

This role also incorporates secondary functions, including expo duties, cashier responsibilities, dishwashing, and line cooking, requiring a versatile skill set. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent or in process of completing same
- Must be able to complete CBC driver training, pass a MVR according to CBC standards and maintain a valid drivers license with insurance
- State Foodhandler card/ServSafe certification as applicable
- Preferably a minimum of 3 months work experience in a guest service capacity
- Restaurant or retail environment preferred
- Proficient in MS Office environment and POS systems
- Possess strong guest service and communication skills
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be proficient in basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Job Duties
- Takes and modifies orders over phone using POS
- Enters orders placed online into POS
- Resolves customer concerns with manager approval
- Assigns deliveries to catering employees
- Begins and completes baking/food preparation
- Assembles catering food in baskets, trays and bowls
- Makes deliveries by vehicle and or by foot
- Responsible for breakfast and lunch preparation
- Responsible for clean-up duties
- Empties trash as required
- Responsible for distributing tips daily
- Executes Catering Sales initiatives including daily customer call backs, menu drops, community event coordination and execution, menu presentations and food tastings, identifying sales leads through active territory canvassing
- Maintains abundant FOH displays and condiment stations
- Checks bathrooms
- Busses tables
- Prepares food to spec and order request
- Maintains accurate cash flow and integrity of financial transactions
- Prepares and organizes food for delivery to guest
