Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
- Ability to perform assigned tasks involving constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong organizational skills and decision-making ability
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relations
- Ability to interact cooperatively with coworkers
- Completion of company-wide and job-specific safety training
- Adherence to all safety policies and procedures
- Reporting of safety incidents promptly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to make quick and accurate decisions
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure for extended periods
- Ability to interact with co-workers to assure compliance with service standards
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
- Knowledge of appropriate table settings, service ware, and menu items
- Proficient in English for communication
- Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
- Sufficient mobility to perform tasks involving reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Oversee set-up and clean-up for banquet functions
- Responsible for inventory of equipment, small wares, disposables, and beverages
- Supervise housemen and stewarding team during event set-up and break-down
- Coordinate movement of beverages and equipment for events
- Supervise food and beverage service and event room set-up and clean up
- Assist with planning, organizing, and execution of functions
- Greet clients and respond to requests
- Speak at roll call meetings prior to events about event particulars and expectations
- Oversee general cleaning tasks to adhere to health standards
- Check with Facilities, Catering, and Culinary teams for last-minute changes
- Complete other duties assigned by Catering Management
