This pivotal role reports directly to the Catering Manager and plays a critical part in the successful planning and execution of catering events. The Catering Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of catering activities by coordinating with various departments including production, conference services, and sales teams. The Catering Supervisor position offers a pay range of $19 to $22 per hour and requires availability to work mornings, mid-days, evenings, and weekends. Candidates must have 1-2 years of relevant experience in catering or similar hospitality roles, emphasizing leadership, customer service, and operational excellence. Responsibilities include supervising event setups and breakdowns, adhering to sanitation and safety standards, and maintaining accurate records for continuous improvement. Job Requirements
- Must have 1-2 years of relevant experience

Job Duties
- Coordinate and supervise all catering activities under the Catering Manager's direction
- Work with production, conference services, and sales teams to execute events
- Review event details with the Catering Manager and Executive Chef, manage inventories, and order products and equipment
- Coordinate with catering staff and other departments for event setup, delivery, and breakdown
- Ensure sanitation, safety, and organization standards are met
- Maintain records and prepare reports for event improvement
- Address complaints, problems, and feedback from customers or staff
- Send Event Summaries to Catering Manager for assigned events, detailing team, client, operational wins and opportunities
- Ensure catering equipment is returned and properly stored
- Meet with event contacts and ensure all needs are met
- Oversee the execution of designated events, ensuring quality service
- Provide high-level service at all functions
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
