- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts up to 100 lbs
- Willingness to support deliveries and on-site events
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in catering, foodservice, or event coordination preferred
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- A service-first mindset and a desire to exceed Guest expectations
- Ability to plan, sell, and execute catering orders with efficiency and professionalism
- A strong understanding of catering operations and customer service best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent driving record and willingness to support deliveries or on-site events
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break
- Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, and push/pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs unassisted
Job Duties
- Serve as a primary contact for Guests placing catering orders in person, online, or by phone
- Coordinate event details, logistics, and timelines for corporate and private clients
- Prepare and package catering orders for delivery or pickup
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and timing meet Plum Market’s standards
- Support event execution including on-site setup and service as needed
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and positive referrals
- Communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, Store Leadership, and Prepared Foods leadership
- Support training and mentorship of Team Members involved in catering operations
- Maintain accurate records of orders, delivery logs, and client feedback
- Uphold all Plum Market policies, procedures, food safety standards, and operating practices
