The Catering Services Worker position is a vital role within Aramark's event operations, supporting successful catering orders and event execution at their location. This part-time role, with schedules available from 2 PM to 9:30 PM Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday, calls for a dedicated team member who can contribute to all facets of catering event management. The primary duties include setting up catering and event services according to specific client requests and banquet event orders, transporting and delivering food, beverages, and essential supplies to event sites, and ensuring the proper setup of chairs, tables, buffet lines, and other event equipment. During the events, the Catering Services Worker replenishes food and beverage products, maintains cleanliness and appearance of food service areas, and provides excellent customer service to guests.
Additionally, after events conclude, this role involves timely and efficient breakdown and cleanup, including picking up food and beverage deliveries and returning equipment to proper storage locations. Physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for extended periods are inherent to this role, which also requires compliance with dress code standards and may involve wearing uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE).
This position requires a candidate who is capable of working independently with limited supervision and is willing to work event-based hours. Candidates must complete required Food Handling and Alcohol Service training to uphold Aramark's high standards. Serving as a front-line representative of the company, the Catering Services Worker plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and the overall success of catered events, contributing directly to Aramark's mission of doing great things for people and communities.
