The role of Catering Services Worker at Aramark involves supporting the event operations team by facilitating successful catering orders and events at various sites. This hourly position pays between $21.00 to $25.00 depending on experience and location. The Catering Services Worker is responsible for assisting in event setup by arranging chairs, tables, buffet lines, and other necessary equipment following the banquet event order. They are also tasked with the transportation and delivery of catering food and supplies, ensuring everything arrives efficiently and intact. During events, this role requires replenishing food and beverage items and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of food service areas to provide a satisfactory guest experience. Following the event, the worker assists in breaking down and cleaning venues and properly storing all equipment. Excellent customer service skills are essential to engage guests positively and address any service needs or inquiries.

The position demands flexibility to work event-based hours and may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing. Compliance with dress codes and safety policies is mandatory, along with completing required training in Food Handling and Alcohol Service. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in catering or customer service roles preferred
  • Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and stand for extended periods
  • Must adhere to assigned dress code
  • Ability to complete required Food Handling and Alcohol Service training
  • Must be available to work flexible, event-based hours
  • Ability to follow safety policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Previous catering experience preferred
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Must follow the required dress code as assigned
  • Must be available to work event-based hours
  • Must be able to complete Food Handling and Alcohol Service training as required

Job Duties

  • Set up catering and event service according to client/customer requests and banquet event order
  • Transport and deliver catering food and beverage with all vital supplies and equipment
  • Set up chairs, tables, buffet lines and other event equipment as requested in banquet event order
  • Replenish food and beverage products during events
  • Maintain appearance and cleanliness of food service areas during events
  • Pick up and clean up food and beverage deliveries after service
  • Break down and clean area after the conclusion of the events and return equipment to accurate storage
  • Provide excellent customer service to all guests
  • Follow safety policies and procedures
