The Catering Services Worker role at Aramark is an essential part of the event operations team, tasked with supporting the smooth execution of catering orders and events. This position is crucial in ensuring that events meet client expectations through meticulous setup, efficient transportation of food, beverages, and equipment, attentive guest service during events, and thorough cleanup and breakdown afterwards. Work in this role demands flexibility, teamwork, and a strong commitment to excellent customer service. The Catering Services Worker sets up event areas by arranging chairs, tables, and buffet lines according to specific event orders. They transport necessary catering supplies safely and efficiently, keeping the entire process seamless.

During events, the Catering Services Worker replenishes food and beverage items proactively, maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere. After events conclude, they manage cleanup operations, returning equipment to proper storage and ensuring areas are left spotless. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to positively engage with guests, contributing to a welcoming environment. This position may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) are required to maintain safety and professionalism. Candidates must be prepared to work event-based hours as schedules vary with event timings.

Job Requirements

Must be able to complete food handling and alcohol service training as required
Must be available to work event-based hours
Must follow the required dress code as assigned
Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and/or walk and stand for extended periods
Must be able to work independently with limited supervision

Job Qualifications

Previous customer service experience preferred
Previous catering experience preferred
Demonstrate the ability to work independently with limited supervision

Must be able to complete food handling and alcohol service training as required

Job Duties

Set up catering and event service according to client/customer requests and banquet event order
Transport and deliver catering food and beverage with all vital supplies and equipment
Set up chairs, tables, buffet lines and other event equipment as requested in banquet event order
Replenish food and beverage products during events
Maintain appearance and cleanliness of food service areas during events
Pick up and clean up food and beverage deliveries after service
Break down and clean area after the conclusion of the events and return equipment to accurate storage
Provide excellent customer service to all guests
Follow safety policies and procedures
