The Catering Services Worker position at Aramark involves supporting the event operations team to ensure the smooth running of catering orders and events at specific locations. This role entails various hands-on tasks such as setting up events according to client and banquet event order specifications, transporting food, equipment, and supplies to event locations, serving guests during events, replenishing food and beverage products, maintaining clean and attractive food service areas throughout the event, and dismantling and cleaning up after event completion. Working in this role requires physical activity including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing. The position pays an hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $22.00 and is event-based, requiring workers to be available according to event schedules. Successful candidates must complete training for food handling and alcohol service and adhere to the company’s dress code and safety policies. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and walk or stand for extended periods
  • Must adhere to company dress code
  • Availability to work flexible event hours
  • Ability to complete Food Handling and Alcohol Service training
  • Customer service skills
  • Physical stamina to perform event setup and cleanup tasks

Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Previous catering experience preferred
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Must follow the required dress code as assigned
  • Must be available to work event-based hours
  • Must be able to complete Food Handling and Alcohol Service training as required

Job Duties

  • Set up catering and event service according to client/customer requests and banquet event order
  • Transport and deliver catering food and beverage with all vital supplies and equipment
  • Set up chairs, tables, buffet lines and other event equipment as requested in banquet event order
  • Replenish food and beverage products during events
  • Maintain appearance and cleanliness of food service areas during events
  • Pick up and clean up food and beverage deliveries after service
  • Break down and clean area after the conclusion of the events and return equipment to accurate storage
  • Provide excellent customer service to all guests
  • Follow safety policies and procedures
