Currently, Aramark is hiring full-time Food Service Supervisors to join its passionate Food Services Team. This role is pivotal in supporting daily food service operations alongside a manager, helping to oversee staff, maintain food safety and quality, and ensure an efficient, organized, and hazard-free environment. The Food Service Supervisor plays a critical role in facilitating teamwork, training staff, maintaining accurate inventory and production records, and ensuring all health and safety standards are met. From producing and maintaining work schedules to stepping in for absent employees and supporting catering events, the position offers diverse responsibilities aimed at enhancing service delivery and operational excellence. Job Requirements

  • Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year
  • Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • Maintain emotional control under stress
  • Ability to resolve interpersonal situations
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • Completion of or commitment to complete a sanitation course within the first year
  • Knowledge of operating cost-effective food service programs
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • Ability to maintain emotional control under stress

  • Strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
  • Direct daily activities
  • Maintain food production ensuring safety and quality standards
  • Ensure safe, organized, and hazard-free food storage
  • Maintain all serving schedules following menu and policy specifications
  • Maintain sanitary department following health and safety codes
  • Maintain accurate weekly inventory
  • Prepare orders to ensure accurate production
  • Supervise and evaluate employees, promote growth and teamwork
  • Maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment
  • Train and mentor food service workers
  • Maintain maintenance logs for equipment
  • Complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
  • Perform preventative maintenance checks
  • Recommend equipment replacements
  • Multi-task proficiently
  • Perform duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager
  • Fill in for absent employees as needed
  • Manage daily catering event preparations and deliveries
  • Work occasional night and weekend catered events
  • Attend staff food service meetings
  • Maintain communication with staff
  • May perform cashier duties
  • Promote good public relations
