Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • sanitation course completion required before or during the first year as a lead
  • basic arithmetic skills
  • capability to maintain emotional control under stress
  • interpersonal conflict resolution skills
  • physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand or walk for extended periods
  • willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment (PPE)

Job Qualifications

  • complete a sanitation course before or during the first year as a lead
  • ability to perform basic arithmetic

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules
  • prepare production records
  • direct daily activities
  • maintain food production ensuring safety and quality
  • ensure food items stored safely and hazard-free
  • maintain serving schedules as per menu specifications
  • uphold sanitary standards following health and safety codes
  • maintain accurate weekly inventory
  • prepare vendor orders for accurate production
  • operate cost-effective programs
  • supervise and evaluate employees
  • counsel employees
  • promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
