Aramark’s commitment to employee development ensures that careers here do more than provide a paycheck—they fuel passions and empower people to reach their fullest potential.

The Food Service Supervisor role at Aramark is a pivotal leadership position responsible for the efficient day-to-day management and supervision of food service operations. This position oversees the preparation and serving of food, ensuring that appropriate quantities are prepared and that food safety and quality standards are consistently met. As a food service supervisor, you will direct daily activities such as producing and maintaining work schedules, preparing production records, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Maintaining a safe, organized, and hazard-free kitchen environment is essential, along with managing inventories and coordinating orders with vendors to meet production requirements accurately.

Beyond operational management, this role is integral to fostering a positive work culture by supervising and evaluating employees, counseling staff as needed, and promoting employee growth, morale, efficiency, and teamwork. The Food Service Supervisor must be knowledgeable about cost-effective programming, practical in resource management, and excellent at maintaining a clean, sanitary environment that meets or exceeds departmental requirements. This role demands strong organizational skills, emotional control under stress, and the ability to resolve interpersonal conflicts effectively. Candidates need to have completed a sanitation course, either prior to or within the first year of leadership, and possess basic arithmetic skills necessary for inventory and production management.

Working at Aramark offers employees the opportunity to develop new skills and grow within a dynamic company that recognizes and rewards dedication. The role may include physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing, as well as the use of personal protective equipment. Aramark focuses on creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every team member can thrive. This is an excellent position for individuals seeking a meaningful career in food service management with a global leader that invests in its people and their futures.
