The Food Service Supervisor role at Aramark entails the supervision, training, and management of the food service operations. This pivotal position requires overseeing all food production activities to ensure the safety, quality, and timeliness of food preparation and service. The role includes directing daily activities, producing and maintaining work schedules, preparing production records, and maintaining accurate inventory according to departmental policies. The Food Service Supervisor ensures that all food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment and that food is served according to menu specifications and health codes. The supervisor also plays a crucial role in maintaining a sanitary work environment consistent with health and safety regulations.
As a Food Service Supervisor, you will manage and evaluate employees, providing counseling and supporting their professional growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork. You will be expected to operate a cost-effective food service program while ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to maintain emotional control under stress, and the aptitude to resolve interpersonal conflicts effectively. Completing a sanitation course is mandatory either before or during the first year of employment in this supervisory position.
