The role of Food Service Supervisor at Aramark is critical to ensuring that food service operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This position is responsible for supervising, training, and managing food service staff to maintain high standards of quality and safety in food production and delivery. The Food Service Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring the right quantities of food are prepared, stored, and served in accordance with established procedures and departmental policies. This includes producing and maintaining work schedules, preparing production records, directing daily operational activities, and upholding health and safety standards.

In this supervisory position, the incumbent must be skilled in maintaining a sanitary environment that meets health codes, overseeing food storage to be safe and organized, and ensuring all menu items are served correctly and timely. They must also manage inventory accurately on a weekly basis and handle vendor orders to maintain efficient production levels. Additionally, the Food Service Supervisor is tasked with leading their team by evaluating staff performance, promoting employee development, enhancing team morale, and fostering a positive work environment that prioritizes collaboration and growth. This role demands a dedication to cost-effective food service management and the ability to operate an efficient program that meets Aramark's quality standards.

Aramark places emphasis on employee growth, and the Food Service Supervisor is expected to obtain or hold certifications such as Food Handler Certificate and Alcohol Server Certification, demonstrating their commitment to food safety and regulatory compliance. The role may include some physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing, and may require the use of uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE). As part of Aramark's commitment to its workforce, the job duties may evolve as needed to meet the operational needs of the company, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in the work performed.

Overall, this role offers a unique opportunity to work with a respected global company dedicated to service excellence while developing leadership skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
