Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Prior management or supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to work event-based hours
- Excellent communication skills
- Complete food handlers and alcohol service certifications as required
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Compliance with safety and hygiene standards
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience
- Prior management or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in events, hospitality, and catering preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Food handlers and alcohol service certifications as required
- Ability to work event-based hours
Job Duties
- Develop catering solutions to meet customer needs
- Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport
- Deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events
- Facilitate delivery of prepared food and setup of events
- Assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions
- Train and lead catering employees to ensure standards are followed
- Provide completed banquet event orders and quality assurance
- Responsible for food and labor cost targets
- Manage staffing and execution of catering events
- Ensure accurate reporting of catering revenue, expenses, and receivables
- Recruit, train, schedule and develop team members
- Ensure compliance with food, occupational, and environmental safety policies
