The Catering Services Manager role at Aramark is a dynamic leadership position responsible for all catering and special events at a given location. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that client and customer needs are met with high-quality catering solutions and exceptional service standards. The Catering Services Manager leads the catering team by planning, executing, and delivering catering events of various sizes and scopes efficiently and effectively. Key responsibilities include developing tailored catering solutions that satisfy customer requirements, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring consistent, high-quality event delivery. This leader is also responsible for facilitating food delivery and event setups as outlined in banquet event orders, assisting clients with event planning by providing creative and personalized service options, and guaranteeing that all catering staff are well-trained and adhere to service and presentation standards.
In addition to client and event management, this position manages operational and financial aspects of catering, such as meeting food and labor cost targets and ensuring accurate reporting of catering revenue, expenses, and receivables. The role also involves recruiting, training, scheduling, and developing team members to build a high-functioning catering team. Safety compliance is a priority, with a focus on following all food safety, occupational health, and environmental safety regulations. The Catering Services Manager must demonstrate strong communication skills, readiness to work event-based hours, and the physical ability to handle tasks involving lifting and standing for extended periods. Job Requirements
- Requires at least 2 years of experience
- Prior experience in a management or supervisory role preferred
- Previous experience in events, hospitality and catering preferred
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Available to work event-based hours
- Must have excellent communications skills
- Complete food handlers and alcohol service certifications as required
- Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Develop and complete catering solutions to meet customers' needs
- Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport
- Deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events
- Facilitate the delivery of prepared food and set up of events crafted from banquet event orders
- Assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions to clients' needs
- Train and lead catering employees to ensure catering and event standards are followed ensuring quality in final presentation
- Provide completed Banquet Event Orders to team and provide quality assurance all requests are met prior to event
- Responsible for delivering food and labor targets
- Responsible for execution of catering events of varied size and scope including staffing and management
- Ensure accurate reporting of all catering related revenue, expenses, and receivables
- Recruit, train, schedule and develop team members
- Ensure compliance with all food, occupational, and environmental safety policies
