The Catering Services Director at Aramark plays a pivotal role in overseeing and leading the entire catering operation across multiple units or within a large account. This leadership position involves managing the catering team, planning and completing catering orders, and orchestrating special events while ensuring excellence in service delivery. The Director is responsible for developing comprehensive catering strategies including menu development, pricing, marketing plans, and budgeting to meet both the financial goals of the department and customer satisfaction. Leading by example, the Director trains and mentors catering staff, ensuring that every event is executed flawlessly from food preparation to event cleanup. Additionally, this role requires active participation in sales negotiations and contract discussions, demonstrating leadership in customer relationship management and business development.
