Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations and accommodate reasonable requests
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests
- maintain exceptional communication skills and work well with others
- address guest complaints or issues promptly and relay information to supervisors
- promote and maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment
- operate dining room equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
- perform job duties collaboratively during special events
- ensure proper setup and cleanup of dining areas
- perform other duties as assigned
