The New Highmark Stadium, opening in the 2026 NFL season, will become the new home for the Buffalo Bills and is one of the largest construction projects in Western New York history. The Catering Server role involves delivering exceptional, personalized service to guests by efficiently serving food and beverages such as soda, water, wine, and both draft and bottled beer. Servers will ensure guest satisfaction by interacting with attendees and fulfilling their needs promptly while maintaining attention to detail and a pleasant demeanor. Aside from serving guests, Catering Servers support the service staff by clearing and cleaning tables and running food during events. They assist with opening, closing, and side work duties, contributing to seamless operations and upholding high service standards.
Successful candidates must have knowledge of food and beverage preparations, as well as awareness of other food, beverage, and retail outlets within the stadium. The role requires flexibility to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and during major stadium and catering events. Physical stamina is essential due to frequent reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling, along with the ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds. Moreover, candidates should possess at least two to three years of experience working in fast-paced, high-end clubs or restaurants and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
Legends Global prioritizes workplace safety and compliance, expecting all employees to practice safe work habits and complete necessary safety and compliance training. Alcohol and food safety certifications must be attained prior to working events. Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Available to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to interact with co-workers to ensure compliance with company service standards
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
- Ability to read, speak, and write English to communicate with guests
- Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds
- Flexible to work extended hours including late nights, weekends, holidays, games, and major events
- Mobility to perform tasks including reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
- Two to three years experience in fast-paced high-end clubs or restaurants
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Practice safe work habits and follow all safety policies and procedures
- Ability to attain required alcohol and food safety certifications prior to events
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adapt quickly
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
