As a Server at Aramark, you will be a vital part of creating exceptional dining experiences by providing outstanding customer service in varying food service environments. Your primary duties will include taking orders, serving food and beverages according to guest preferences or banquet menus, and contributing to a positive atmosphere that guests will remember. Working as a Server requires flexibility, as shifts may include evenings and weekends, and physical stamina for lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing and walking. Servers must maintain cleanliness and organization of food service areas while adhering to Aramark’s strict safety policies, food safety standards, and alcohol service guidelines. Additionally, Servers are expected to uphold company policies involving security and appropriate use of equipment. Job Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, standing, and walking for extended periods
  • Must obtain or currently hold a valid food safety certification
  • Must follow all company safety and sanitation policies
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a server or in food service role preferred
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of food safety principles and procedures
  • Must be able to obtain a food safety certification
  • Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Serves food and beverage to guests according to guests orders and/or banquet menu
  • Maintains knowledge of menu items and all other offerings
  • Maintains appearance and cleanliness of food service areas during event
  • Replenishes food and beverage product
  • Adheres to all alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking guests' identification
  • Provides excellent customer service, anticipating guests' needs
  • Breaks down and cleans/sanitizes food service areas, workstations, and equipment
  • Maintains a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
  • Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
  • Ensures security of company assets
