The role of Catering Server – Casual at Rutgers is an essential part of the university's Dining Services Catering team, where employees contribute to memorable and smooth dining experiences during campus events. As a Catering Server at Rutgers, the individual ensures exemplary guest service through diverse tasks such as managing carving stations, bartending, and food running during events. Job Duties
- Ensures exemplary guest service through all forms of service including carving stations, bartending, running food during events, etc.
- replenishes products and supplies in compliance with event standards
- ensures events are properly equipped and executed by transporting, pulling, setting up and breaking down, and returning equipment to designated storage areas in compliance with event standards and instructions
- provides support to present a clean and safe work environment
- performs other duties as assigned
