The company prides itself on fostering an "Associate First" culture, focusing on the development and growth of its team members, and upholding core values of quality, integrity, community, profitability, and fun. With a diverse array of properties managed by Concord Hospitality, the company serves a wide range of clientele including business travelers, tourists, and event planners, positioning itself as a leader in the hospitality industry.

Concord Hospitality is currently seeking a proactive and results-driven Catering & Sales Manager to lead social and corporate catering events, including guest room bookings. This dynamic role combines essential elements of sales, event management, and guest services with a strong focus on maximizing revenue and ensuring an exceptional experience for clients and guests alike. The Catering & Sales Manager will be instrumental in driving business by selling and managing catering events, negotiating contracts, coordinating with multiple hotel departments, and overseeing event execution from planning through post-event follow-up.

As a key leader at Concord Hospitality, the Catering & Sales Manager is expected to inspire greatness within their team by encouraging members to reach their full potential and creating a positive, supportive work environment. This includes leading with integrity, transparency, respect, and professionalism while caring for both the team and their families. The role requires managing a flexible schedule that includes weekends and peak-season work from Tuesday through Saturday, accommodating the demands of the hospitality industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for not only selling and managing social and corporate events but also for upselling contracted groups, suggesting menus, negotiating contracts, and ensuring flawless event execution through close collaboration with various hotel departments. The position requires diligent budget monitoring, attention to sales quotas, and the implementation of innovative strategies to increase catering revenue, especially during low-demand periods. Additionally, the Catering & Sales Manager will engage in new business development through solicitation, networking, and maintaining strong relationships with past clients.

This position places a strong emphasis on communication and organizational skills, requiring the manager to lead pre-event, on-site, and post-event communications to maintain high service standards. Training, delegating, and guiding staff to ensure smooth event operations and excellent client service are also vital components of the role. The manager will conduct site tours for prospective clients and facilitate meetings to further foster business growth.

Overall, this role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to Concord Hospitality’s continued success by driving revenue growth, cultivating a motivated and skilled team, and delivering memorable event experiences. Concord Hospitality supports the professional development and career advancement of its associates and commits to diversity and inclusion, making it a great place to work for all.
