The role of Catering Sales Manager reports directly to the Director of Premium Services. This position demands a proactive, results-driven individual focused on targeting and coordinating all catering sales efforts. The Catering Sales Manager's primary responsibility is to drive new catering business through generating leads, employing effective marketing strategies, and representing the company at networking events. Success in this role means consistently developing quality leads that translate into sustained growth in catering sales.
Key responsibilities include booking and selling catering services, planning and coordinating special social events, and meeting the highest standards of customer service. The manager acts as a vital liaison between clients and internal departments to ensure seamless event execution, generating consistent revenue while maintaining strong client relationships. Another crucial aspect of the job is to monitor booking spaces, manage repeat business, and conduct detailed sales presentations to prospective clients. The role requires significant interaction with various stakeholders, including the premium and concessions departments, ensuring all event logistics are handled with precision.

Job Requirements
- Must have two to three years of related experience
- must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
- must be flexible to work extended hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays
- must have sufficient mobility to perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling
- must be able to work in a team environment
- must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- must be customer service oriented with leadership skills
- must have working knowledge of local and regional markets, venue operations, and special events industries

Job Duties
- Research, analyze, and develop special event profit generating opportunities
- proactively solicit new business by making sales calls and presentations, attending trade shows, and client prospecting
- create leads and develop long-term relationships in event planning, production, and promotion communities
- monitor changes and new developments in the special events industry
- work closely and build relationships with Legends' premium and concessions departments
- manage and direct all Legends-related event logistics including managing the events calendar, conducting walk-thrus, and being primary contact for clients
- prepare and provide reports including event revenue, profit and loss statements, sales recaps, and projections
- obtain client feedback following special events to analyze satisfaction and risks
- provide quality service and maintain positive customer and client relations
- practice safe work habits and complete safety and compliance training
- maintain a pleasant and collaborative attitude towards customers, co-workers, and management
- adhere to Legends Global and venue company policies
- focus on outbound sales and turning them into repeat business
- complete other duties assigned by management
- available to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
