This role is pivotal in leading and managing both social and corporate catering events, including guest room bookings, to maximize revenue and deliver outstanding customer experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering sales – from negotiating contracts and coordinating event setups to collaborating with hotel departments and generating new business. Given the nature of the hospitality industry, the role requires a flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and during peak seasons from Tuesday through Saturday. This position demands a proactive, results-driven professional with a strong ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and manage events meticulously to ensure flawless execution and guest satisfaction.\n\nThe Catering & Sales Manager will also play an essential role in staff leadership by training and guiding the events team to maintain high standards of service excellence. - Minimum 2 years’ experience in catering sales hotel convention services banquet management hotel sales or culinary arts or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong communication negotiation and organizational skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Guest-focused with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding service

Job Duties
- Sell and manage social and corporate catering events including guest rooms banquet food and beverage upselling contracted groups
- Negotiate contracts suggest menus and coordinate room setups according to policy and client needs
- Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure flawless event execution and guest satisfaction
- Generate new business through solicitation networking and follow-up with past clients
- Finalize and distribute Banquet Event Orders BEOs and maintain accurate event records
- Lead pre-event on-site and post-event communications to ensure service excellence
- Monitor budgets sales quotas and revenue opportunities implement strategies to increase catering revenue during low-demand periods
- Conduct site tours for prospective clients and facilitate client meetings as needed
- Train delegate and guide staff to ensure smooth operation of events and service standards
