Compliance with Florida state safety and health regulations is mandatory, including maintaining a current state food handlers management certificate.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in catering sales, hotel sales, event planning, or a related hospitality sales role, paired with a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Professional certifications such as Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or Certified Hospitality Sales Professional (CHSP) are advantageous. Exceptional communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This role requires physical stamina and the mental agility to work effectively under pressure, dealing proficiently with clients, peers, and management across all levels of the company. The Catering Sales Manager must be comfortable standing and moving throughout hotel and resort properties for the majority of their assigned shifts and capable of performing various physical tasks as part of their responsibilities.

Overall, this is an outstanding opportunity for a driven sales professional seeking to make a significant impact within a leading hospitality company. The Catering Sales Manager at SunStream Hotels & Resorts not only contributes to revenue growth but also plays a critical role in shaping memorable event experiences that reflect the brand's commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction.
