This hotel is part of the distinguished PCH Hotels and Resorts portfolio, an independent franchisee operating under the Marriott International brand. As a leading hospitality establishment in historic Montgomery, Alabama, the property boasts nearly 300,000 square feet of versatile event space, catering to a diverse clientele seeking excellence in accommodations and event hosting. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Catering Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is pivotal in driving our catering sales efforts and expanding our market presence. The role requires a passionate professional with a strong sales background and an enthusiasm for food and event planning. The Catering Sales Manager will be instrumental in fostering and managing client relationships, developing strategic sales initiatives, and working closely with our culinary team to deliver exceptional event experiences.
The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary starting at $60,000 with bonus potential up to 40%, reflecting the value and impact of their contributions. In addition, we offer a comprehensive relocation package to support candidates making the move to Montgomery. The Catering Sales Manager will primarily be responsible for identifying and pursuing new catering opportunities by building relationships with local clients, event planners, and venues. Additionally, they will handle negotiations related to contracts and pricing, ensuring profitable and satisfying arrangements. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in hospitality or catering
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work full-time
- Willingness to relocate to Montgomery, Alabama
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
