The Catering Manager role at Seacrest Beach Resort is a pivotal position within the resort’s event services. This is a year-round, full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary in the range of $60,000 to $68,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, there is a quarterly incentive program providing up to 20% bonus after the first 90 days of employment. The Catering Manager is responsible for managing and servicing social catering opportunities including weddings, inhouse events, and other functions as directed. This role requires meticulous attention to detail ensuring that every event exceeds guest expectations and maintains the resort’s reputation as a top-tier wedding and event destination.
The successful candidate will use their expertise to achieve both personal and team financial goals by upselling menu enhancements and leveraging seasonal or demand-based pricing strategies. They will foster strong relationships with clients, promoting all outlets and features of the hotel to encourage repeat business and positive word-of-mouth. A key aspect of this role involves the management of client communications, contract details, deposit collection, and collaboration with operational teams to ensure flawless event execution.
