As a Catering Sales Manager at Mo' Bettahs, you will take on a dynamic and multifaceted role centered around driving catering sales growth both inside and outside the restaurant environment. You will be a key relationship builder, engaging with local businesses, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, community organizations, and event planners. This position involves overseeing every aspect of the catering process from initial sales outreach and relationship development to execution and follow-up. Collaborating closely with restaurant leadership and kitchen teams, you ensure that each catering order reflects the company’s values, surpassing customer expectations and delivering a flawless experience.

Your responsibilities will span generating new business through outreach and relationship building; conducting sales calls and in-person visitations; coordinating with restaurant and kitchen teams to handle order details meticulously; resolving guest concerns while preserving the aloha spirit; and tracking sales performance and client feedback to inform continuous improvements. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proven experience in restaurant management or catering sales

Job Duties

  • Generate new catering business through prospecting, networking, community outreach, and relationship building
  • develop partnerships with local businesses, schools, hospitals, churches, sports organizations, and community groups
  • build and maintain a pipeline of new and existing catering clients
  • conduct sales calls, follow-up outreach, and in-person visits to generate repeat business
  • meet and exceed catering sales goals
  • serve as the primary contact for all catering inquiries within your assigned market
  • respond quickly to phone calls, emails, and online catering requests
  • guide guests through menu selections and recommend catering packages that fit their needs
  • upsell catering options while creating an exceptional customer experience
  • follow up after every event to ensure satisfaction and generate repeat business
  • accurately process and confirm catering orders, including guest count, dietary needs, delivery details, and special requests
  • coordinate seamlessly with restaurant General Managers and kitchen teams to ensure flawless execution
  • monitor catering orders from booking through delivery
  • resolve guest concerns quickly while maintaining the Aloha experience
  • work closely with restaurant leadership to improve catering operations and execution
