The role of Catering Services Manager at Aramark is a leadership position responsible for overseeing all catering solutions and special events at a given location. The manager leads a dedicated catering team to execute catering delivery requests and events in alignment with customer expectations and service standards. This position demands a strategic and hands-on approach to event planning, client relations, and team leadership. The Catering Services Manager is charged with developing tailored catering solutions to meet customer needs, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality events.
Key responsibilities include managing the facilitation of food delivery and event setup based on banquet event orders, assisting clients in planning special events, and providing creative solutions that align with client requirements. Leading and training catering employees is also central to this role, ensuring adherence to quality and presentation standards. The manager must guarantee quality assurance by communicating completed banquet event orders to the team and verifying all event requests are fulfilled as planned.
Moreover, the Catering Services Manager is accountable for achieving food and labor targets and managing events of varied sizes and scope, including staffing and oversight. Accurate financial reporting concerning catering-related revenue, expenses, and receivables falls within the remit of this role. Recruiting, training, scheduling, and developing team members form part of the leadership responsibilities, complemented by ensuring compliance with all applicable food safety, occupational safety, and environmental policies.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of experience
- Prior management or supervisory experience preferred
- Available to work event-based hours
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Completed Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required
- Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience
- Prior experience in a management or supervisory role preferred
- Previous experience in events, hospitality and catering preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Job Duties
- Develop and complete catering solutions to meet customers' needs
- Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport
- Deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events
- Facilitate the delivery of prepared food and set up of events crafted from banquet event orders
- Assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions to clients' needs
- Train and lead catering employees to ensure catering and event standards are followed ensuring quality in final presentation
- Provide completed banquet event orders to team and provide quality assurance all requests are met prior to event
- Responsible for delivering food and labor targets
- Responsible for execution of catering events of varied size and scope including staffing and management
- Ensure accurate reporting of all catering related revenue, expenses, and receivables
- Recruit, train, schedule and develop team members
- Ensure compliance with all food, occupational, and environmental safety policies
