Job Description

Concord Hospitality is a prominent hospitality management company known for its dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering a supportive work environment. As an established leader in the hotel industry, Concord Hospitality prides itself on its commitment to quality, integrity, and community, along with profitability and fun, which form the core values guiding the company’s operations. With a diverse portfolio of hotels and properties, Concord Hospitality emphasizes an "Associate First" culture that nurtures growth, balance, and inclusivity among its workforce. This approach has enabled the company to build strong relationships with guests and associates alike, ensuring a work atmosphere that is both dynamic and welcoming.

The company is currently seeking a proactive and results-driven Catering & Sales Manager to join their team. This role uniquely blends sales expertise, event management, and guest service, offering an exciting opportunity to lead social and corporate catering events while also managing guest room bookings. The role demands a flexible schedule including weekends and peak-season Tuesday through Saturday shifts, to accommodate the high-paced nature of hospitality events.

As a Concord Leader, the Catering & Sales Manager will inspire greatness within their team by fostering an environment of integrity, transparency, respect, and professionalism. The manager will be instrumental in encouraging and supporting team members to achieve their fullest potential, contributing to the creation of a workplace that is recognized as a Great Place to Work for all associates. This leadership role emphasizes care not only for the team but also for their families, reflecting the company's holistic approach to employee well-being.

The core responsibilities of this position include selling and managing catering events—both social and corporate—and overseeing associated guest room bookings, banquet food and beverage services, and upselling contracted groups to maximize revenue opportunities. The manager will be responsible for negotiating contracts, suggesting customized menus, coordinating room setups, and ensuring all client needs are met in accordance with hotel policies. Collaborative work with various hotel departments is essential to deliver flawless event execution and superior guest satisfaction.

Beyond event management, the role involves generating new business through active solicitation, networking, and maintaining relationships with past clients. The manager will finalize and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), maintain accurate event records, and lead communication efforts throughout the event lifecycle to guarantee service excellence. Monitoring budgets, sales quotas, and uncovering additional revenue opportunities are key to driving profitability, especially by implementing strategies aimed at increasing catering revenue during slower periods.

Additional responsibilities include conducting site tours for prospective clients and facilitating meetings to promote the hotel's event capabilities. The manager will also play a critical role in training, delegating, and guiding staff to ensure smooth operations and uphold high service standards. This comprehensive role demands strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to negotiate effectively, and a guest-focused mindset dedicated to delivering outstanding service.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $52,000 to $75,000, reflecting the importance of the role in the overall success of Concord Hospitality's event and sales operations. In addition to a robust compensation package, the company provides an extensive benefits plan aimed at supporting the health, well-being, and professional growth of its associates.

Joining Concord Hospitality means becoming part of a vibrant community that values diversity and inclusion, and is committed to being a Great Place to Work for all. The company’s investment in associate development ensures ongoing training, career advancement, and opportunities to contribute to a culture that values quality, integrity, community involvement, profitability, and most importantly, fun. This role is ideal for passionate individuals eager to contribute to a dynamic hospitality environment while honing their leadership and sales capabilities.
