It stands out as a one-of-a-kind destination where music, art, and the spirit of Colorado converge to create an unforgettable experience for guests and team members alike. The hotel features live performances at the Magic Rat, rooftop cocktails at the Sunset Lounge, and locally inspired cuisine at The Emporium, making it more than just a place to stay—it is a hub of energy and personality. This hotel is part of the esteemed Sage Hospitality Group, which blends the support and resources of an industry leader with the charm and creativity of an independent and community-rooted property. This provides employees with a rewarding and innovative workplace culture that embraces individuality and fosters professional and personal growth.

The Elizabeth Hotel is much more than a traditional workspace; it is a community where team members are valued and integral to the story of the hotel. The company deeply celebrates each person's unique contributions, building a culture where everyone feels seen, supported, and inspired. The team members at The Elizabeth are the heartbeat of the hotel, driving extraordinary guest experiences while maintaining a positive, inclusive atmosphere.

The candidate will be responsible for maximizing the banquet space to meet and ideally exceed catering revenue goals. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across different departments to ensure outstanding event execution. Additionally, the job includes recommending program and procedural changes to continually improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The role demands a proactive approach to business development, including outside sales calls, telemarketing, mailings, and networking to book both new and repeat business. This position uniquely blends marketing strategy with hands-on event planning, making it perfect for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy working with diverse client needs. Moreover, the job offers opportunities for professional development through mentorship, cross-functional learning, and internal advancement within The Elizabeth and the broader Sage Hospitality portfolio.

The Elizabeth Hotel supports a healthy work-life balance through flexible scheduling and offers wellness resources, tuition reimbursement, and meaningful benefits that demonstrate a genuine investment in the well-being of their employees. Beyond the work itself, employees enjoy team perks like hotel and travel discounts, team meals, and recognition programs, underscoring the company’s commitment to a supportive and rewarding workplace.

Hospitality at The Elizabeth runs around the clock, and the company relies on team members who bring energy, flexibility, and commitment to every shift. The position offers not just a job but the opportunity to be part of a community that leads with integrity, celebrates diversity, and crafts memorable guest experiences. Working at The Elizabeth means being part of a team that values collaboration, creativity, and having fun while delivering excellence. The experience you gain here can be both professionally enriching and personally fulfilling, setting a solid foundation for a successful career in hospitality.
