The position available is Catering & Sales Manager, a critical role within the hotel responsible for driving group room and event sales. This dynamic role involves soliciting, booking, planning, and coordinating group rooms, meetings, and events, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish. The Catering & Sales Manager works closely with clients and internal departments to maximize space utilization and revenue, forecasting and budgeting to support strategic business objectives. Job Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in catering sales or event coordination preferred
  • Prior experience in a hotel or hospitality setting strongly preferred
  • Consistent attendance and adherence to Resolute Road Hospitality's standards
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales or event management, preferably in hospitality
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet sales targets and build lasting client relationships
  • Strong analytical and forecasting abilities with attention to revenue trends and reporting accuracy
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with event management software is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Secure new and repeat business through outside sales calls, networking, and marketing efforts
  • Maximize banquet space utilization to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Develop and execute territorial marketing strategies to drive group and event bookings
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pace reports, and revenue projections to support business planning
  • Analyze booking trends, pickup, and market demand to identify opportunities and risks
  • Plan and detail meetings and functions, including space, menus, equipment, and decor
  • Complete contracts, prepare paperwork, and coordinate with hotel departments
  • Resolve client concerns and ensure high quality service delivery
  • Lead Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings and communicate group requirements to staff
  • Manage billing, payment methods, and financial oversight for group events
  • Stay informed on hotel procedures, competitor offerings, and industry trends
  • Represent the hotel at professional events and maintain high visibility in the market
  • Perform other duties as assigned
