Job Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in catering sales or event coordination preferred
- Prior experience in a hotel or hospitality setting strongly preferred
- Consistent attendance and adherence to Resolute Road Hospitality's standards
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or event management, preferably in hospitality
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to meet sales targets and build lasting client relationships
- Strong analytical and forecasting abilities with attention to revenue trends and reporting accuracy
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with event management software is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Secure new and repeat business through outside sales calls, networking, and marketing efforts
- Maximize banquet space utilization to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Develop and execute territorial marketing strategies to drive group and event bookings
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pace reports, and revenue projections to support business planning
- Analyze booking trends, pickup, and market demand to identify opportunities and risks
- Plan and detail meetings and functions, including space, menus, equipment, and decor
- Complete contracts, prepare paperwork, and coordinate with hotel departments
- Resolve client concerns and ensure high quality service delivery
- Lead Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings and communicate group requirements to staff
- Manage billing, payment methods, and financial oversight for group events
- Stay informed on hotel procedures, competitor offerings, and industry trends
- Represent the hotel at professional events and maintain high visibility in the market
- Perform other duties as assigned
