Pasea Hotel & Spa, located in Huntington Beach, California, is a premier oceanfront resort renowned for its vibrant and sophisticated atmosphere. This luxury hotel offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean combined with elegant accommodations, exceptional dining experiences, and well-equipped event spaces. Known for its commitment to outstanding guest service and exquisite amenities, Pasea Hotel & Spa is a favored destination for both leisure travelers and business events. The property is part of the Pacific Hospitality Group, which is a family-focused company dedicated to long-term growth through owner/operator management practices. Pacific Hospitality Group emphasizes enriching people's lives by creating memorable experiences, giving back to communities, and honoring foundational principles such as integrity, respect, and customer focus. The company is committed not only to providing unparalleled guest service but also to fostering sustainable business growth and cultivating a fulfilling workplace culture for its employees.
The Sales Manager role at Pasea Hotel & Spa is integral to the property's success by driving revenue through effective sales of public spaces, food and beverage offerings, and function planning services. This position requires a dynamic individual who can establish and maintain strong client relationships and actively seek new business opportunities. With a salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 annually, this full-time role offers an opportunity to be part of a progressive company guided by values that prioritize compliance, value creation, and principled entrepreneurship. The Sales Manager will engage in various industry-related activities including attending trade shows, participating in sales blitzes, and joining community events to boost market presence and generate leads. This role demands a proactive approach to prospecting new clients such as groups, travel managers, travel agents, and consumers, utilizing existing networks to maximize hotel revenue and ensure long-term client satisfaction.
In addition to driving sales, the Sales Manager will collaborate closely with hotel department leaders to coordinate event logistics, space allocation, and food services. They will be responsible for responding to requests for proposals (RFPs), presenting detailed quotes, and maintaining comprehensive client information in the hotel’s computer systems. This position also involves analyzing market trends and competition to develop effective sales strategies and direct mailing campaigns. Team members in this role receive ongoing training and development support while having the opportunity to participate in local community initiatives that enhance business growth.
Successful candidates typically bring two or more years of catering or event sales experience within a hotel, resort, or similar operation, with added experience in multicultural weddings or events considered a plus. A strong understanding of cost control related to labor, food, and beverage is desired along with steadfast knowledge of hotel guest service standards and etiquette. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-volume environments that demand excellent organizational skills and timely execution. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field and possess strong sales acumen, including effective negotiation and closing skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are essential to address client needs and adapt sales strategies for optimal results.
Joining the Pasea Hotel & Spa sales team means becoming part of a forward-thinking organization that values its people and community. The role offers not only competitive compensation but also the chance to impact business success and grow professionally within a supportive and principled company environment.
