Job Description

Our hotel is a distinguished establishment known for its exceptional hospitality and commitment to delivering memorable experiences to both corporate and social clients. As a part of a renowned hotel brand, we pride ourselves on maintaining high standards of service and providing comprehensive amenities to cater to a diverse clientele. Our facility boasts state-of-the-art event spaces and a dedicated team of professionals who work diligently to ensure every event runs seamlessly from start to finish. We are looking for a motivated and skilled Catering Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team and contribute to our ongoing success.

The Catering Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in the growth and success of our catering department by proactively soliciting and promoting catering business in the local, corporate, and social markets. This position involves a blend of sales acumen, event planning, and client relationship management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving catering revenue through effective prospecting, direct selling, and strategic communication with clients and internal departments. This role requires a self-starter attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with event planners and hotel department heads to ensure all event details—such as room setups, food and beverage selections, and audio-visual requirements—are clearly communicated and executed with precision. You will be tasked with preparing proposals, contracts, and other client documents, as well as planning and detailing booked events. As the on-site contact during catering events, your presence will assure smooth operation and client satisfaction.

Our Catering Sales Manager will also participate in property tours, highlight new service offerings, and engage in networking activities both on-site and in the community to establish and nurture lasting customer relationships. A key part of the job is maximizing catering and banquet revenues while minimizing revenue erosion, ensuring profitable menu creation, and leveraging up-selling opportunities. The role involves regular communication through banquet event order meetings, emails, and digital platforms to align all hotel departments with event requirements.

We seek an enthusiastic, goal-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and who exhibits excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills. This role offers a unique opportunity to advance your career in hotel sales and catering within a supportive and innovative organization.
