The Catering Sales Manager role at Crestline Hotels & Resorts is a pivotal position responsible for driving sales, planning, and overseeing all social catering events booked at the hotel. This role demands a professional who is adept at selling events, servicing accounts, and nurturing client relationships to maximize catering revenue. Achieving sales goals is a core performance metric for this role, along with the ability to anticipate challenges and deliver effective solutions for group events.

A significant part of the job involves detailed event coordination, which includes collaborating with the Executive Chef, Banquets, and Conference Services teams to manage setup changes and final guest counts. The role also includes preparing specialized reports that support revenue tracking and business planning. The Catering Sales Manager represents Crestline Hotels & Resorts at various trade association meetings, helping to promote the property and generate future business opportunities. Active participation in relevant associations aids in continued education and professional development, equipping the manager with the latest industry insights and trends.

While a high school diploma or GED with two to five years of sales experience in a hotel or conference center environment is the minimum requirement, a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Extensive knowledge and experience in coordinating wedding ceremonies and receptions are highly valued in this role, reinforcing the importance of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
