We are currently seeking a dedicated Catering Sales Manager to join our sales and marketing team at the 100 Carondelet Plaza location in Clayton, Missouri. This full-time management position plays a vital role in driving catering sales by proactively soliciting and handling business opportunities to meet and exceed personal and company sales goals. The role focuses on nurturing long-term, value-based customer relationships, ensuring timely and accurate turnover to event management for seamless service delivery. The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for engaging in sales activities such as researching new leads, participating in sales calls, and maximizing revenue through upselling. This position requires a strong understanding of market trends, competitors, and customer needs, allowing the manager to strategically close business opportunities aligned with location objectives. This role is bonus eligible with an hourly pay range of $29.81 to $37.50, reflecting the importance of performance and contribution to the company’s success.

In this role, you will build and strengthen relationships within the community and with key stakeholders to expand the customer base. You will also execute the operational aspects of bookings, including proposal generation, contract writing, and customer correspondence. The Catering Sales Manager also represents the brand and property standards daily, ensuring exceptional guest relations and collecting guest feedback to continually improve product quality and service levels. Job Requirements

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
  • 3 years experience in sales and marketing or related field
  • or 4-year bachelor's degree with 1 year experience
  • proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work full time onsite in Clayton, Missouri

Job Qualifications

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in business administration, marketing, hotel and restaurant management, or related major with 3 years of sales and marketing experience
  • or 4-year bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, hotel and restaurant management, or related major with 1 year of sales and marketing experience

Job Duties
