Job Duties
- Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions, make introductions, and ensure arrangements are agreeable
- Read and analyze banquet event order to gather guest information and determine set up, timeline, and special guest needs
- Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
- Follow up on special banquet event arrangements to ensure compliance
- Follow all company and safety policies and report accidents and unsafe conditions to manager
- Ensure professional uniform and appearance and maintain confidentiality of information
- Welcome and acknowledge guests and anticipate their service needs
- Speak clearly and professionally and answer telephones with etiquette
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals
- Ensure adherence to quality standards
- Visually verify and read information in various formats
- Inspect tools and equipment to identify defects
