Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
  • Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work in narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
  • Adherence to company safety and security policies

  • At least 1 year of related work experience in food and beverage or events
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions, make introductions, and ensure arrangements are agreeable
  • Read and analyze banquet event order to gather guest information and determine set up, timeline, and special guest needs
  • Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
  • Follow up on special banquet event arrangements to ensure compliance
  • Follow all company and safety policies and report accidents and unsafe conditions to manager
  • Ensure professional uniform and appearance and maintain confidentiality of information
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests and anticipate their service needs
  • Speak clearly and professionally and answer telephones with etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Visually verify and read information in various formats
  • Inspect tools and equipment to identify defects
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Move and lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Work in narrow or confined spaces and on uneven surfaces
  • Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
