Job Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales and event coordination, preferably in catering sales and/or hotel setting
- Sales-driven with a service-first mindset
- Exceptionally organized and responsive under pressure
- Strong cross-functional collaborator who elevates the guest experience and maximizes revenue

Job Duties
- Proactively solicit and convert catering and group room business within designated markets
- Respond promptly to inquiries, conduct engaging site tours, and close business with confidence
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals while maintaining strong sales activity
- Develop creative packages and strategically upsell enhancements to maximize revenue
- Prepare, present, and negotiate proposals, contracts, and pricing strategies aligned with profitability goals
- Leverage referrals, vendor partnerships, trade shows, and networking events to generate new business
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to identify and pursue new market opportunities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process
- Create detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and coordinate closely with culinary, banquet, and operations teams
- Manage events onsite, ensuring seamless execution and an exceptional guest experience
- Handle last-minute changes and requests with professionalism, flexibility, and composure
- Conduct post-event follow-up and gather feedback to strengthen client relationships
- Identify and execute upselling opportunities, including premium menu enhancements, décor upgrades, and curated food and beverage experiences
- Promote additional resort offerings such as spa services, overnight stays, and pre/post-event experiences
- Partner with spa and food and beverage teams to develop unique, revenue-generating packages
- Support seasonal promotions and targeted campaigns to drive demand during need periods
- Monitor booking pace and proactively address gaps through strategic outreach
- Coordinate with front desk and reservations to manage room blocks, VIP arrivals, and special requests
- Maintain accurate records and sales activity in Maestro and other systems
- Participate in weekly sales and catering, BEO, and leadership meetings
- Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking for your segment
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings to remain innovative and competitive
